Growth Operations Intern

We’re hiring a Growth Operations Intern to support Soda’s Growth . You’ll work directly with a founder and the rest of the team to help us move faster and more efficiently. Your job is to enable the team to focus on execution by taking ownership of operational tasks across growth, content, and more. This is a hands-on, high-impact role. If you perform, we expect you to grow into a full-time role such as Operations Manager, Marketing Associate, or SDR.

Responsibilities

Depending on your strengths and interests, you’ll be involved in areas such as:

• Organizing Soda-led events:

  • Promote, coordinate, and manage webinars

  • Source speaking opportunities for founders and team members

  • Plan and execute community meetups across the world

• Supporting marketing operations and community growth:

  • Manage content publication and social media execution

  • Run and analyze paid marketing experiments

  • Video filming and editing

• Assisting with sales operations:

  • Automate and improve manual workflows

  • Support CRM hygiene and reporting

• Improving systems and processes across the Growth team

About Soda

Soda helps customers detect, resolve, and prevent data quality issues by combining automated post-production monitoring with pre-production pipeline data testing. We enable Data Engineers to effectively own DQ by “shifting left” the data quality initiatives from business to engineering.

Soda was founded in 2019 by Maarten, an employee #5 in Collibra, where he worked in Go-To-Market leadership, and Tom, who launched multiple OSS projects that generated 100s Million in value. Together, they built a tool that ensures data quality across Data Engineering, Data Governance, and business use cases.

Soda’s product offering consists of an open-source project called Soda Core, which is used by companies like Tesla, Slack, Adyen, Walmart, and JPMC. Soda commercializes its software through the Soda Cloud product. We're well-funded, with investors like Point 9 Capital, Hummingbird, Singular, and Eurazeo.

Requirements

• Ruthless attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and high responsiveness

• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal

• Fast learner, quick to pick up new tools and workflows

• Proactive and independent, not afraid to push back when needed

Nice to haves

• STEM or engineering background, or interest in AI/data

• Prior startup, tech sales, or fast-paced work experience

• Business, economics, or related academic background

This is not a passive internship. You’ll be expected to operate like a core part of the growth team.
